My name is Kathryn and I’m setting this go-fund me up on behalf of Mary-Kate (MK) Sills. MK is a 19 year old college student and the most resilient person I know. She has been part of the foster care system since 2019 after the passing of her mother and subsequent arrest of her father. Her father continued taking care of their home and three animals on his own, one cat, Silver, and two dogs, Buddy and Annabelle, until this month when he was incarcerated leaving MK to take care of the three animals and her father’s home. This courageous young woman is now faced with unexpected financial burdens, including veterinary bills for her beloved pets who have not received proper veterinary care for several years and other essential expenses including continuing to be able to afford her schooling.
MK remains optimistic and strong even after losing her foster mother suddenly and the incarceration of her father in the same week. As she continues to face these emotional and financial challenges that no person should ever have to face please consider offering support to her during this time.
All money generously donated will be going straight to MK to lighten this financial burden she has to carry.
