For Mrs Chadbourne
Donation protected
Hi all
one of my children’s old teachers at St Bedes school has recently discovered she has MND .
As you can see from the newsletter on St Bedes website
People are raising money for the research into this disease,
Im wanting to raise money to help Sue and her family during this very difficult time.
I am going to run 26.2 mile on Sunday 2nd January, can I ask if you would kindly sponsor me I have never done this distance before so it will be a challenge. If you are happy to sponsor me that would be amazing. I will collect money and it will be personally delivered to Sue’s daughter Emma Who is a PC at Rotherham SYP .

Weʼre raising £5,000 to support a colleague diagnosed with MND.
One of our colleagues, Sue Chadbourne, has worked at St Bede's Catholic Primary School for over 25 years. Unfortunately, over the summer holiday Sue was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). All the staff at St Bede's want to support Sue and raise money for vital equipment she may need, for research into MND and to be able to send Sue on holiday with her daughters and granddaughter.
As a school community we will be hosting a number of fundraising events throughout the year. One event will be for staff to do a ‘virtual walk’ from Rotherham to Chad in Africa, which is 2811 miles! To kick start this, staff will be taking part in a 24 hour walk around Rother Valley Country Park.
We ask for the support of our whole school community in our fundraising attempts to reach our target and ensure we send Sue and her family on a very special holiday together.
