Help Petrus Fight Cancer: Urgent Surgery Needed

Dear Friends,

We are reaching out on behalf of our dear classmate, Petrus Chidera Ifijen, a fellow Nigerian and part of Madonna Model Secondary School’s 2013 set. Petrus is currently in the Philippines studying Nursing, but she is now facing a severe and aggressive battle with Esthesioneuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer affecting her right nasal cavity. The disease has spread to her eyes, frontal lobe, and cervical lymph nodes.

Tragically, she has already lost vision in one eye due to this condition, and her remaining eye is at risk if surgery isn’t performed urgently. Though she has undergone chemotherapy, the tumors have proven resistant to treatment. The only remaining option is an emergency surgery to remove the tumors and save her life.

The total cost of the surgery is 2.5 million pesos (approximately $45,000). While we’ve been able to raise some funds, we still fall short of the amount needed. We kindly ask for your support—any contribution, no matter the size, will help make a difference and could save Petrus’ life.
