Help Quinn and Paul with Vet Bills for Murray

Hi! I'm very sad to share that Quinn and Paul's beloved cat Murray has lost his fight with cancer. Murray was undergoing chemotherapy treatment and making amazing progress for months, but unfortunately suffered a relapse and an infection earlier this week and didn't make it through. He passed away on Thursday morning at home unexpectedly. Murray was a very handsome, sweet, goofy, and gentle cat who loved wearing bowties and hanging out with his sister cat, Marty. He brought so much joy to Quinn and Paul who have raised him since he was a kitten for 7 great years.

Chemotherapy is expensive treatment and is unpredictable in nature, but most cats do respond well to it for most types of cancer. However, the type of cancer that Murray had was very rare and aggressive. Despite this guarded prognosis, Murray was playing and eating normally throughout chemo treatments and remission seemed to be a realistic goal according to his wonderful care team at Blue Pearl Glendale. Quinn and Paul have done absolutely everything they could for Murray and because of their care in getting him treatment, he had an additional four months of comfort and happy home life, and a real chance of remission and recovery that he would certainly not have had otherwise.

The grief of losing a pet on top of expensive veterinary bills is a heavy burden to bear. We're hoping that by reaching out to friends, loved ones, and cat lovers alike we can collectively help to ease the stress of the cost of Murray's treatment while Quinn and Paul are grieving Murray's loss; he was loved as a member of their family as all pets are.
