For my 3 year old granddaughter

Hi my name Charlotte Baxter and Im raising money for my son Justin, daughter in law Ashley for their 3 year daughter Saylor.

Saylor has been hospitalized late last week with E.coli and has been diagnosed with Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). HUS is a rare but serious illness caused by the E. Coli infection that affects the kidneys and blood clotting functions. As a result, she wasn't producing any urine output even though she was hooked up to IVs and given meds to promote urine output. She is currently receiving dialysis and blood transfusion treatments every other day due to severely damaged kidneys.

Justin and Ashley are staying at the hospital with Saylor and are unable to work during these times. We still have no definitive date of her discharge and there is still a long road to recovery ahead for her and her family.
