For my Mom, Cynthia Medina

Donation protected

This is my Mom, Cynthia Quiason Medina. She was a beloved Mother, Wife, Grandma, best
friend to my Father, and a friend to many. She can always make you smile, and cheer you up
anytime. She lived a life of service, she was a
Registered Nurse for many years. My Mom
was so compassionate to her patients, loving Mom to us, and her friends. I made this groupme to help offset any funeral costs for my Dad especially, so he doesn’t have to worry about
anything. If you can donate, thank you so
much

My mother
 was born on
Feb. 11, 1953 to Jose and Natalia Quiason.
She is married to Tolentino Medina, and has
three kids, Anthony, Marie, and Diane. She has fought Colon Cancer, Lymph node cancer, and battled Lung Cancer for 11 years. She has
been a fighter, a loving, and positive person
through it all, and fought till her last breath.
She was hospitalized Monday night for Sepsis Pneumonia and was on life support.

She passed away on May 20, 2021 at 10:30am with my Dad, my sister, Diane, and my brother, Anthony at her side. Even when she was so
sick, she always kept her fighting spirit, and
always showed her love towards my Dad.
Before she passed, my mother used all her
energy to look at my Dad one last time. I
witnessed her opening her eyes and trying to
talk to him even with the breathing tube. She
tried to sit up and I saw her looking at my
father. I will never forget that.

My mother worked as a Registered Nurse,
graduated from Chinese General Hospital in
the Philippines, worked in Tehran, Iran, and
retired from Yountville Veterans Home where she worked for about 28 years. She also
worked at different convalescent homes in
Vallejo, Crestwood and Louisiana during that
time as well.

Our family thanks you all for your loving
comments, text messages, phone calls,
flowers, and cards. We want to thank the
ICU in Vallejo Kaiser for caring for my Mom. We were able to be with her and our family
will always remember that.

We want to make sure my Mom has a
beautiful ceremony and service. I don’t want
my Dad to worry about anything. If you can
donate, we thank you so much. We still need
to purchase her marker, so anything helps.

Thank you
