For my nephew a trike and Walker

he needs the walker because its the only piece of equipment he relys on to move about the house and walk, and hes outgrown hes old one so is unable to move around and play.. The trike is so he can play out like other children and take park in having hes own trike!

Absolutely at my wits end, kai was assessed back in May for a new walker and a trike the walker is a need as he has outgrown hes previous one and uses this to get about it can't be funded on the NHS so we have to apply to charities to hope they will fund it, so far since May weve only managed to get one charity to fund half of it leaving us to find another to fund the other half or pay for it ourselves, then the trike we want for him so he can go about outside and play like any other kid 12 weeks ive been waiting to hear back to be told the amount they can fund doesnt even cover a quater of it why disabled children aren't just awarded this equipment is beyond me when they need it..
