For Nancy Hamm's Funeral

Thank you for taking the time to hear my mother's story. My mother was born on July 22nd 1955 and passed away unexpectedly on March 1st 2021. She was an incredibly strong single mother who, for years, had been battling many health problems. The passed 2 years have been the hardest when she unfortunately was diagnosed with Dementia. She began to lose her memory, along with her ability for reasoning and thinking clearly. Sadly due to the unexpected rapid decline in her illness, she did not meet the 2 year requirement to claim her life insurance policy filed last year. I, her only child Courtney Hamm, regrettably was unaware that she had not had a secure life insurance policy, and due to her illness she assured me everything would be taken care in the case of an emergency. I would love nothing more than to give my mother a proper ceremony, but do not have the mends, money, nor does she have any living relatives to help. She was my world; one of the strongest, smartest , and willing woman I had the honor of calling my mother. She had a smile that was contagious, loved deeply, and could instantly make friends wherever she went because of her outgoing personality. She raised me as a single mother for most of my life and always believed in me. She made sure I knew that I was worth it and I could do anything if I set my mind to it. That is why it means so much that I would like to give her some sort of respectable ceremony, if not just for her, but for those who had the pleasure of truly knowing her and the bright light she brought to this world. I would also like others to be able to say goodbye to a woman who impacted this Earth in so many ways. I am not one to ask for money, as my mother raised me to be a strong and independent woman as she was, but I do not know what else to do, but ask those who would like to please help me give my mother the proper and honorable goodbye she deserves. Any contribution would be extremely appreciated and know it means the absolute world to me, and I know it would her too!
