In her own words:

As you may or may not know, I was diagnosed with Grade 3 Brain Cancer in late spring, early Summer. I have undergone a Craniotomy (Brain Surgery) to have the tumor removed, followed now by very intensive treatments, both radiation (5 days a week) and chemotherapy (daily) while I continue to work full time. You, my family and friends, have been thoroughly supportive and caring for me during this life-altering time. Unfortunately, as the year is coming to an end, so is my health insurance, making this treatment financially devastating. I am actively taking steps to get alternative coverage in place. If you are able to make any donation, I would be exceptionally grateful. Even if you are only able to put out positive thoughts, energy, prayers, or give this a share, I would be just as thankful, as every little bit helps. I have my son to live for and I will do whatever is needed so he can have a life with his mother.
