For our friend Rachael Galloway

On Thursday 1st August 2024 my sister Rachael Galloway went into hospital to have a planned C-Section. Unfortunately Rach did not survive the procedure, but refused to go until her boys arrived safe and sound in the world.

Rach got engaged only the week before to her partner Matt and she was getting her happy ever after. All those who knew Rachael were so happy for her, she was an amazing girl, caring, strong, kind, and the life and soul of any party. She was passionate about keeping fit and was always planning what hike to do next. She was an avid Liverpool supporter also.

She lost her mum at an early age and always vowed to live a life that our mum would be proud of. She achieved that and more.

She leaves behind her partner Matt, her 2 baby boys, and her beloved German Shephard Ruby. Although no amount of money could ever compensate for the families loss, we are hoping to raise funds to help Matt get by in the immediate future (Matt is self employed and is now unlikely to be able to work for the next few years) and set some aside for the boys future.

If anyone can give anything at all I know, I cant put into words how grateful we all will be.

Update - This fundraiser was originally set up by one of Rachael's friends, due to media interest it was decided that a family member should take it over and be the point of contact for any questions.
