FOR OUR NEL

On the 11th September, I will be taking part in the Black Country Triathlon.

I am doing this for Child liver disease, a charity extremely close to my heart.
CLDF takes action against the effects of childhood liver disease, providing information, emotional support, research funds and a voice for all affected.

My niece Nellie was diagnosed with Alagille’s syndrome after a very tough start in life. From her first 2 weeks in Intensive care, to transitional wards and another hospital stay later we finally have some answers. Nellie’s case of Alagille’s syndrome causes her Liver to not work as it should, this means she will be on meds for life and have regular monitoring. Everyone’s version of Alagille’s is their own and Nellie is the strongest little girl so we can only hope she goes on to live a normal, happy life.

Any contribution big or small is massively appreciated.

Nellie you are the light of our lives and you have put our worlds into perspective.
Auntie Sophie will do her best to make you proud on race day.
