For our sweet Sophia Hinkley of Cadillac, MI

Sophia was diagnosed on 5-7-22 with stage V wilms tumors. She has tumors on both kidneys. She had her port placed and 1st round of chemo on 5-9-22 and has had 12 Chemo appointments so far. All at Devos children's hospital. Next week on the 2nd she goes in for her scans and then the surgeons will decide on her surgery. They won't know until then if she will be able to keep her kidneys or not. After surgery she will still need Chemo and possibly radiation. If they take both her kidneys she will end up on dialysis for 1-2years before she would be eligible for a transplant.
