For Papa John and his Family

As some of you know, John has been fighting constantly these last 3 years, battling multiple instances of septic shock, 4 extensive abdominal surgeries, and is now at the end of his battle with kidney and liver failure. His critically high bilirubin level has left him extremely jaundiced, with hepatic brain damage, that is only going to continue getting worse. His care team has fought right alongside him the last 3 years, with his daughter Robyn, and wife Kathleen constantly advocating for him and sticking by his side. As of tonight, his family made the extremely difficult decision to focus on his comfort, and has had him transported to a hospice facility, where the doctors think it won’t be very long before his battle ends, and he transitions into his next journey, free of pain and suffering.
Unfortunately, John only had life insurance through his employer, which he no longer has. Kathleen’s only income comes from his social security and disability, which will not be available to her until a month or more after John has passed. Robyn does what she can to supplement necessary money, but she herself is a widowed mom of 3, with a lot of bills she has fallen behind on as well.
We are just looking to raise enough money to get Kathleen through these next few weeks, and for Robyn to be able to make arrangements for John’s final send off and cremation.
