For Pastor Sung Man Chung

This go fund me page is for Pastor Sung Man Chung. He was in an accident on Sunday, June 6, 2021, and he had emergency surgery later that day. On June 23 at 1:25am Jesus came to take our Dad home. Pastor Sungman Chung passed away from lung and pneumonia complications after his spinal cord injury and spinal surgery. He went peacefully as our mom Hyaikyung Grace, and his three adult children (Esther, Paul, and Mary) stood by his bedside, sang hymns to him, held his hands, and told him how grateful we were to be his family and for his love, life, and legacy. We miss him already and are having a hard time processing what life will be like without him. His faith and love were foundational to our family. His love for Jesus and the Bible impacted many. We are comforted that he is with his Savior, Jesus, leaning on the everlasting arms. Dad's funeral is this weekend @ Grace-Bethel UMC of NJ (396 Broad Ave, Leonia).

Friday is an indoor service. Saturday is an outdoor service.
Friday 6/25 viewing is at 7:00 PM and service begins at 8:00 PM.

Saturday 6/26 viewing is at 9:00 AM and service starts at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be at Laurel Grove (Totowa) immediately after service at 11:30 AM.
