For Patience Moyo-NKOMO’s repatriation costs

My name is Nomsa NEKEVANE - from Mopane Foundation International. I am appealing to you all to help raise funds for a sister Mrs Patience Nkomo who arrived in country with family on CoS in May and was hospitalised within a week of arrival, followed by stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis, which eventually metastasised leading to terminal illness which led to her departure. She lost her battle to cancer on Tuesday, 5th December 2023 in Barnsley Hospice (South Yorkshire).
Patience was (I am even crying to see myself writing WAS) 42, turned 42 in September while fighting cancer. She is survived by husband Gift Nkomo, 18 year princess Nono and an 8 year old son. Husband on CoS hasn’t been able to work in the past few months as the illness took over their lives and spend time on trips to hospitals in Patient’ stay within the country. The young family was still to find bearings on how things work but God had other plans.
Why am coming to you? While her little family is here, her parents remain in Zimbabwe and it is their wish to see the remains of their child and bid herfarewell. I am therefore appealing to your good hearts to join hands and we help repatriate Patience’s remains to her final resting place in Zimbabwe. Ideally the 3 here would accompany the remains funds permitting, however, the goal is for parents to say farewell to their child hence requesting only £5000 anything extra would be a bonus. I have absolute faith we will achieve this and more.
Above all, please let’s pray for them here and parents back home for strength during this difficult period of their life
Every penny helps
Thank you all in advance.
Sleep well my dearest sis, I saw you fading in my eyes and broke knowing there was absolutely nothing I could have done. He who authored your life saw it to completion. Our plans were never His nor our thoughts. Jeremiah 29:11
You will forever live in our hearts, loved to the end ️️️, see you in the morning.
