For Ryan & Susan Chapman's Family
Update as of 8-23-2021
From Ryan's oldest son, Jared, " My dad passed this morning. He was the best man I knew, and was such an incredible father. He taught me so much that I don't even know how to put into words. He touched so many people's lives and was such an incredible influence on me. I will miss him, but I know that he is in a better place and that I will be able to see him again. There are no words to describe the kind of man he was and the way changed the lives of all he came in contact with, me most of all. Love you Dad"

With heavy hearts, we share that our dear friend: a brother, son, father, and husband, Ryan Chapman (46yrs old), has received news that his cancer that was discovered last November has spread aggressively and at an extremely rapid rate. His time on this earth is coming to a close within the next few months. He has fought hard this year with faith and optimism through unbearable pain and an aggressive treatment plan. It is difficult to process life without him, especially for his wife, Susan, and 6 children, ages 12, 15, 17, 19, 21, & 23, (and 1 daughter-in-law). The following is an Excerpt taken from Susan’s Facebook page (Ryan’s wife), August 11, 2021: “Not everyone gets to know someone as loving, kind, and intelligent as Ryan. I have been fortunate enough to be married to him and share a glorious life with him. I have watched him love our children and want to be the very best for them. They are his world. His everything. He has coached them in basketball. Taken them on campouts (even when that was never his thing). Ryan loves going to their games or events and supporting them in any way he can. But most importantly he has taught them of God and what it means to trust the Lord. Really it’s not fair for people who never had the chance to know him. To be loved by him. To be taught by him. To be edified and uplifted by him… but for the rest of us, we will be grateful our entire lives that we got to know him. Whether it was 24 years or just one day. He is a mighty man and I will cherish every day I have left with him.”
Ryan has served his community, church, neighbors, family, and friends his entire life and has been the sole financial provider to their family.
This fund has been set up by those who love Ryan and Susan’s family and have been impacted by their service, love, and examples. Our hope is to help relieve some of the mounting financial pressures for his family as the medical bills continue to come in and funeral expenses add up, not to mention life without their father and husband.
