For Stacie and her kids

My friend Stacie's apartment was ruined after someone broke in upstairs and flooded her entire home. The building she lives in looks like a swamp and she and her two kids had to live there for three days after, in a cold damp mess. Their clothes, bedding, toys, almost everything ruined. Her boys are keen artists and would practice their art on a tablet, which was ruined in the mess along with everything else.

She's now got a new place thanks to Councillor Christy Burke helping her out, but the family have nothing in their new flat but a mattress. They're starting from scratch all over again. We're setting up this GoFundMe for Stacie, her two kids Taidgh and Tommy, and her dogs can have a home again.

I'm heartbroken about this, more so for my kids than myself. All their toys and electronics, which kept them calm and encouraged them to be artistic, are gone. They're sitting in an empty shell again, I'm lost for words.
