For Stanley Henderson
I never thought I’d be writing this but sadly like so many other mothers in this world my 21 year old son Stanley has been a victim of gun violence. On March 28th while sitting outside at his own home Stanley was shot in the lung and abdomen. He suffered severe injuries but luckily he survived. Unfortunately he lost one of his dearest friends that same night.
Anyone who knows Stanley will tell you he’s got the biggest heart! His smile lights a room. He would do anything for anyone. He would never and has never asked asked anyone for help. He’s a hard worker loved by his employer and his co workers and since he turned 18 has done everything on his own never misses a bill.
As much as he hates asking for anything when he started recovering just a couple of days ago after 4 hours of surgery, 4 days on a ventilator, many blood transfusions later and realized the extent of his injuries and how long his recovery will be, he agreed to let me do this for him.
We don’t know how long his recovery will take but we are very thankful he is still here with us. Whether you could contribute or not please continue to pray and keep him in your daily thoughts that’s just as important, we thank everyone for all the love and support they are giving this far❤️
