For the Algar family - loss of their daughter

Two years to the month after the passing of her sister, Amelia Algar has gone to be with her. On October 9th, thanksgiving day and Amanda’s birthday surrounded by her family, Amelia passed due to complications of Rett Syndrome.

No family should ever have to suffer the loss of a child. It’s hard to even imagine the insurmountable grief of a loss this deep. This family has suffered this loss not once but twice in such a short time.

We are asking our community to help the Algars through this difficult time. There is nothing we can do to ease the pain that Ray, Amanda, Hannah and family are feeling after losing these two beautiful souls but we can make a difference by easing the financial burden of this tragedy. We are asking for help with the costs associated with a celebration of life and memorial arrangements, travel expenses, dog boarding and meal ordering services so that this family can grieve.
