For the Estep Family

This gofundme is created for Rich Estep and his family. Rich is a hardworking nurse who is currently in the position of having to fully support his wife and family financially. His wife, Kristi, is currently hospitalized on a ventilator due to complications from her chronic illness. We are trying to raise money to help alleviate some of that pressure so that they can fully devote their time to care for and be present for his wife. Thank you in advance for your donation!

“My wife, my love Kristi Estep is fighting for her life on a ventilator. She is on day 9 of her current hospital stay at the Atrium Medical Center where she has received the best care. She contracted Covid, positive test on Dec 21st. She has developed ARDS, acute respiratory distress syndrome, a complication of Covid. This, in addition to her already long list of chronic illnesses. She suffers from PAH, pulmonary arterial hypertension secondary to mixed connective tissue disease. She has been on many medications. She has always been courageous. She is a loving mother of three, a grandmother of two and a friend to many. She has a beautiful soul and is a light in this world. She has been active in our parish, St. Henry Catholic Church where she leads bible studies and helps with other activities as her health allows. I wish to remain close to her during this difficult time, fulfilling a promise I made to her. I have had to miss work which has resulted in loss of income. Any funds donated will be used to pay for groceries, gas for my car, and household expenses like gas/ electricity.”
