For the Family of Brian Benjamin

Donation protected
On Wednesday, May 5th Pastor Brian Benjamin unexpectedly left this world and was given the gift of meeting the Jesus he spent his whole life serving and emulating.

When I think of who Jesus was on earth and imagine his face and character there’s one person that comes to mind in my life and that’s Brian Benjamin. Never have I met someone who has shown God’s grace, mercy and love in human form better than this man. With a selfish heart, I’m beyond broken that we’ve lost such a faithful and devoted friend, not just for all the lives he blessed over his 65 years, but more for the beautiful family that he’s had to leave. His devoted wife and recent caregiver, Jill, daughter Summer, son Jordan, and 3 amazing grandchildren Noah, Liam and Declan are among the many who will be directly impacted by this loss. Those who knew him know that he’s right where he’s supposed to be, home with his heavenly father, no longer suffering and no longer confused. Although the events leading to his passing were shocking and unexpected we will continue to pray God can use even this for His glory.

I have known this family for 24 years and never have I seen Brian waiver in his love for Christ, and love for them. I never saw him raise a hand or a voice, or experience a moment when he did not handle a challenge with compassion and mercy. I know they would never EVER ask for help and God has always provided for them no matter what they’ve gone through. In recent years there has been a lot of adversity which they handled with discretion and grace. I have seen firsthand everything that has negatively affected this family and they continue to meet it all with faith and prayer, while graciously encouraging those around them!

Myself and so many close to Brian's family not only grieve for them but are also concerned for the season they have ahead of them. Not only will they experience the sorrow of losing aHusband, Daddy and Papa, but they also have the burden of financial strain since Brian was still providing for those that he loved. Due to his early passing, they could potentially lose everything.

The story leading up to his passing is not mine to tell, but I’m sure in their own time they will share that story. Right now one thing I don’t want them to have to deal with is the burden of how to pay hospital bills, the mortgage, worry if they can “keep the lights on”, or any of the other unexpected expenses they have ahead of them. Anyone who’s ever been blessed by Brian's gracious smile, kind words, sense of humor, and beautiful voice, I’m asking you to pray about donating to his wife, Jill. I believe this is a moment we can give back and truly honor God’s words to care for widows and orphans in need, by caring for this grieving widow and her children.

The family is finalizing the plans to hold a celebration service for Brian in June and more details will be added as soon as I know.
If you have any questions or want to send anything outside of this format please message me directly please!

Thank you for reading and prayers.

With love,
Tiffany White, close friend of the family.
