For the family of Vahe Haytaian

Beloved member of the animation community Vahe Haytaian passed away very unexpectantly in the early morning of Wednesday, April 26th, 2023. He is survived by his wife Emily and their two beautiful young children Michael and Matthew. Vahe was a wonderful father and husband, and worked hard raising his sons with his wife while she continued working toward completing her pharmaceutical degree. They were a beautiful team determined to make the best future for their family.

Vahe worked for Disney Television Animation from 2011 - 2020 and was instrumental in providing scene-by-scene movies to 60 editors and data to 35 technical directors for over 20 animated television series, many of which found huge international success. He worked on hundreds of television episodes for Disney and was a beloved member of the DTVA family. After Disney, Vahe moved to Bento Box Entertainment and worked on more series including The Great North, Central Park, and Bob's Burgers. He will be so missed by the animation community to which he gave so much of his time and knowledge. His job was difficult and complex and he made it look effortless through his skill and ability to multitask. He was as reliable as he was friendly and kind to everyone he knew, and we will miss him so much.
