For the Fernando Acevedo Family

Fernando Acevedo was a husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.  To those of us who knew him, Fernando was kind, funny, smart, generous, and very big hearted. He was the kind of guy that you could always count on if you ever needed help.  Fernando loved God, his family, and his country.  On January 31, 2022, the Lord called on Fernando  and took him home.  Fernando leaves behind his wife, Mitzi, his two sons, Troy and Travis, and his golden retriever, Sheba, who he has often referenced as his daughter he never had.   Fernando’s extended family is setting this gofundme page for his immediate family to help with expenses as they mourn the loss of their loved one.  Before Fernando’s passing he arranged for he and his family’s home to have a new roof put on it. This caused him much stress with all the other pre existing health problems he had. He and his family could not afford the much needed new roof but had no choice to have it done because of structural damage and black mold making the home unsafe. Unfortunately the best judgment wasn’t made when deciding who to go with for a contractor for the roof so what should be a $20,000 to $25,000 job is costing the family $71,000. If the family does not come up with $10,000 for a second deposit the contractors will not continue the process and the family would be literally without a roof on their home. Any possible harsh weather (wind/rain) would cause immense damage without a proper/completed roof. The family needs help so they can have the roof put on and to help pay for funeral costs. Any bit of help would be an absolute blessing to this family who unexpectedly lost their Provider, Mitzi’s Husband, The Boy’s Father, Fernando Acevedo.
