Trystan & I have created this fundraiser to help with Hurricane relief for our parents my mom, Francesca & his dad, Michael.
What we know: As of Saturday morning, we know that, by satellite phone, they lost the roof to their home, and everything in it, and for the last 36+ hours they have been riding out the storm in standing water in the unit below theirs, with 10 other people. There is no relief in sight. The USCG is aware of their location and working to bring everyone to safety.
What once was our parents’ idyllic home, is now inhabitable. They are two of the most selfless people, as you all know! It’s time we join and help them when they need it more than ever.
In the coming days, after a rescue, they will need all the support they can get. For now, we are asking for financial help. This may include helping with immediate rescue efforts, and food, clothing and shelter for the coming weeks and months.
