For the memory of my grandmother and for bringing her home
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Nathanael and on Monday morning June 17, my grandmother Perla Sanding Joson passed away. I was told over the weekend that she had suddenly fallen over and was rushed to the hospital. She was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis just recently and my family was already aware that her condition wasn't getting better and her liver was failing. When her condition wasn't getting better and I was informed that she wasn't waking up, I rushed over to Whidbey Island at 3 am to support my family and to see my grandmother. Later that morning, my family and I watched helplessly as my grandmother was losing her life and took her last breath. Our family in the Philippines couldn't do anything except watch over video call either. I've lost many people in my life but this one felt the hardest, especially since my family and I were in the hospital for so long. She was supposed to go on vacation to see family in a few months, but sometimes life has other plans.
Shortly after my grandmother passed, my family made plans for her funeral service, but we are looking for some extra help to pay for the expenses. If anyone can help, my family and I thank you deeply. All donations will go towards the cost of the funeral service and help with scheduling a flight for my family and me to bring my grandmother's ashes to the rest of our family in the Philippines sometime in March of next year.
Again, my family and I thank anyone willing to donate and we appreciate everyone helping us through this tough time.
