For the Sommerville family

Donation protected
In October 2019 my brother, Dan, got blood work done because he was feeling constantly tired and rundown.  Tests revealed his kidneys were near failure.  Fast forward a few months and he was in stage 5 kidney failure.  In June he started dialysis to try to feel as good as possible.  After a long year we have finally gotten the good news that Dan will be getting his transplant.  Our dad has been approved to give his kidney to Dan on October 12.

Although Dan and Becca are relieved to be reaching this point, it does bring with it some bumps in the road.  With two little kids in daycare, money is pretty much accounted for each paycheck.  These unexpected health issues have already brought on additional bills due to dialysis.  The transplant will also have costs associated with it. Following the transplant, Dan will be out of work for a few weeks during his recovery. While Becca and Dan try to adjust to life after the transplant,  I don’t want them to have to stress over finances.  Therefore I am setting this up to help them pay medical costs, pay for everyday costs while Dan is out of work,  and help them so they don’t have to work out of a hole following this transplant.  Any and all donations are extremely appreciated.
