My name is Samantha and I created this fundraiser on behalf of Ahmed Basem Hamad and his family, who desperately need our help to collect donations not to live but to SURVIVE during this genocide.

Here is Ahmad's testimony:

"I am citizen Ahmad Basem Hamad.

I live in the State of Palestine.

More specifically, I was born in the Gaza Strip in 1993.

I'm 31 years old. At first it was me and my family.

Me, my pregnant wife and my daughter were living in the town of Beit Hanoun, and now we have moved to the town of Deir al-Balah and we are living in a shelter tent because of the Israeli bombings and the destruction that hit our home and the source of income on which we lived.

The occupation completely destroyed our house. Additionally, a poultry farm and chicken coop were destroyed, it contained 4,000 chickens, which I relied on to collect my daily food and that of my children.

My wife also gave birth to our son during this war and I am unable to provide for his basic needs.

Additionally, I have a 4 year old daughter.

And I am unable to meet his necessary needs.

Now I want to build my house and I want to restore my source of income that we depend on. We find ourselves without a job, without a source of support, and I don't have the money to rebuild this future that I have worked so hard for. .

It was demolished in the blink of an eye. This is the reality we live in.
