Keaira was an amazing young woman who overcame several odds throughout her short life. Unfortunately she became the victim of a senseless crime this past weekend. When a Dodge sport-utility vehicle plowed into a South Side apartment building last night, pinning a 12-year-old girl, Marvin Bostick sprang into action.

The girl was underneath the vehicle, as well as the building's collapsed window frame and broken bricks.

"It scared me. I got my jack, and we pushed it over," Bostick said of how he and three other men pushed the SUV up to free her.

"All I know is that she was still breathing," said Bostick, 39.
