I first met Tommy when I was in 4th grade and he was two grades ahead of me at Freedom School in Watsonville, CA. His enormous goofy smile and loud, infectious laugh made me feel welcome in my new school, and from that moment I have thought of him as sort of an adopted older brother. I think Tommy affected most everyone who met him in the same way - we all, at least, wanted to adopt a fraction of his joy. It wasn't hard to do.

Tommy made his way as a dancer, choreographer, and costume designer through high school, community theater, Cabrillo College, San Jose Civic Light Opera, regional theatre companies across the country, and on to Hollywood, working behind the scenes in film and television making everyone look flawless.

Tommy always brought an overflowing supply of laughter, joy and glitter to our lives. 

Now it is our turn to be there for him.

Tommy is in the final stages of battling cancer.  He is resting comfortably at home and has two wonderful, close friends with him 24/7 as caregivers. But, as his care needs are growing it is time to call in professionals for palliative care. This fundraiser is to help raise the funds needed for Tommy's care and expenses. We plan for this to be a quick fundraiser so we can acquire the funds needed for him now.
