FOR YURI SIMOES

On September 28th, 2019 Professor Yuri Simoes suffered a serious knee injury while competing at ADCC. On that day seeing him injured was equally as painful as seeing his dream come to an end.

He had been looking forward to this event for over a year, battled through adversity and put himself in a good position to make history. He will now need surgery to repair the damage that was done. During this time he will be unable to teach, compete or work. Yuri has always gone out of his way to help anyone both on the mat and in life. This go fund me is our way to help him, and we hope he makes a speedy recovery!
