Forbes November Floods 2022

**UPDATE: This has now closed. Funds are on their way to over 165 households to help provide some relief over the Xmas period. Thank you for all your support and help. **

Hi, my name is Bill, and I am fundraising for my home town Forbes, NSW.

Forbes has been hit with multiple floods within the past 12 months, with the current flood being the worst yet.

Homes have been lost, businesses destroyed and lives lost.

I am not expecting to be able to rebuild every lost home or business, however, do have a goal to raise as much as we can for the victims of the floods to help take pressure off over the upcoming Christmas period. If you are able to provide funds to go towards a Christmas ham, or toys, we can help provide a moment of happiness over the challenging months ahead.

All funds will be transferred to "Why Leave Town" gift cards (https://www.whyleavetown.com/programs/forbes) and distributed to flood victims. These cards can be used at various local businesses from Bernardi's Market Place for fresh food, to Flannery's Pharmacy for medical supplies to other local businesses that can assist in home repairs, Christmas gifts and many more.
