Foreclosure Imminent for Young Family of Three
Donation protected
Last year, we experienced a devastating house fire that resulted in a total loss. In the aftermath, we moved in with my parents for eight months while our house was being completely restored. During this time, my father tragically passed away from cancer.
On top of these immense challenges, I have been battling an autoimmune disease that causes chronic pain, fatigue, and affects my ability to perform physical tasks. As a result, I was forced to quit my job. Shortly after, my mother-in-law also passed away, adding to our emotional burden.
Struggling to make ends meet, I took on various odd jobs, but at the end of January, my husband lost his job, leaving us in a dire financial situation. Despite our efforts, we were unable to keep up with our mortgage payments and now face a $73,000 fine, the entirety of what we owe on our house.
As a family of three, including our six-year-old daughter, we are overwhelmed by the cumulative challenges that have befallen us. It feels like we are being burdened with an insurmountable amount of adversity all at once.
I have posted a picture of our six-year-old daughter, and with her, we make a family of three.
We feel like our world is falling apart, and if you could offer any help, even a little bit, we would be incredibly appreciative. We have faith that God is watching over us, but we also understand that sometimes we need to take actions that make us uncomfortable, and reaching out for help is one of those things for me. Any prayers and financial support you could offer would be deeply appreciated.
