Forest Chandler Emergency Surgery

Please consider donating, sharing, and praying for Forest Chandler. Forest is the 14 month old son to Josh and Celeste Chandler.

Forest was experiencing weakness on one side of his body. Josh and Celeste took him to the emergency room at Carle hospital on 12/30. The physician was suspicious of a tumor and knew that his best chance at treatment was transferring him to Peoria.

Due to his condition, he had several emergent MRIs finding a large tumor on his spine and neck spanning over 7 vertebrae. He had emergent surgery removing the majority of the tumor on 12/31. He is currently intubated and sedated allowing his body to recover. The extent of the damage of this tumor is currently unknown and pathology is pending.

Forest has a long road ahead with the potential for other surgeries or procedures.

Josh has recently started a new welding job and since he does not have paid leave built yet, he will not be getting paid for his time off. Celeste works seasonally at the flower farm so Josh is their only source of income at the moment. Any bit you can donate will help this family with the basics.
