Forest Hills Rego Park Graffiti Cleanup Initiative

Donation protected
The Forest Hills & Rego Park Graffiti Cleanup Initiative is a new community volunteer group whose mission is to restore commercial & residential streets by eliminating graffiti on a consistent basis & foster civic pride. It was launched in response to the increase in graffiti due to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s decision to suspend the Graffiti-Free NYC program. The graffiti cleanup initiative is co-founded by longtime community advocates Michael Perlman and Michael Conigliaro, who are routinely partnering with local residents and business owners.

This fundraiser will help purchase supplies including paint & power-washers, as well as other tools to clean graffiti, with a goal of maintaining and enhancing Forest Hills and Rego Park.

Graffiti is an urban blight that impacts our community’s quality of life by compromising its character, cleanliness, & property values, as well as contributes to additional graffiti if not cleaned as soon as possible. As community cleanup events are announced, Covid-19 protocols will strictly be enforced.

Please contribute to our community cause by donating & volunteering, as well as sharing this fundraiser with your friends. "Teamwork makes a dream work!"
