Our Dearest Friends,

In this "most wonderful time of the year" we are so, so happy to bring you this exciting update with our most wholehearted gratitude: God, as many times before and after, using His people (aka YOU) created something out of nothing and, yes, the school now has a cool-looking, BIG and modern playground, a beautiful and engaging structure! Please, if you are in the area, do stop by to have a look - it is great and fits the school perfectly! Only two things remain to be done: the 20X25 basketball court and the border/path with some additional gravel. These jobs will have to be done by professionals, and the current bids are $12 per square foot. We are over $36K of about $50K needed to truly, truly be done! If we all donate just one more time, this fundraiser will be over in one evening! Thank you! May the Lord bless you richly as you continue to bless His children!

Dear Friends,

We are building together a new playground for our wonderful Forest Park Adventist Christian School! The new and exciting structure replaced the old and largely non-existent equipment to PLAY a part in the fulfillment of the high calling of our beloved school to "inspire and nurture the PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, INTELLECTUAL, and SPIRITUAL" growth of each student. Our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews deserve this and with God's help we are more than able to make this dream of many a reality.

Playground being picked from customs warehouse on July 21, 2022. 4 people vs 5000 lbs!

August 14, 2022: the sorting table for all of the nuts and bolts, connectors, spacers, etc.

August 22, 2022. To minimize mistakes and losing parts, we first assembled most of the playground in the gym. Now kids could see what was being built for them!

Multiple work bees took place in late August and September 2022. Many THOUSANDS pounds of concrete were mixed and poured in to keep the structure in place!
