Forever Milanna-May’s World

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today as a family member to the family of Milanna’s Parents, with a heavy heart to share a devastating story that has deeply impacted our family, friends and a whole community.

Few days ago Reanna and Malaky had to experience the unimaginable tragedy of losing their one and only child Milanna-May. As close family, community and a city we are coming together to offer our support during this incredibly difficult time.

On the evening of Thursday 6th February 2025, Milanna-May closed her eyes and fell to sleep forever in her mummy's arms, with her Daddy holding them both.

Despite Milanna’s illness she would light up the room you were in with her cheeky gorgeous smile, a smile that would steal your heart, a little soul that you would cherish forever.

Milanna-May was diagnosed at 9 months of age with Mitochondrial Disease - NARS2 Mutation due to a sudden onset of refractory epilepsy, her parents was told their baby girl won't live past two. She defined the doctors and all odds with the strength and willingness but sadly passing away on the 6th Feb 2025.

In an effort to provide some relief and assistance to the grieving parents. Our goal is to raise funds to help alleviate the financial burden that often accompanies such a heartbreaking loss. We believe that by coming together as a family, community, we can make a significant difference in their lives. The funds raised through this giving-page will be used to cover general day to day expenses, counseling services, and any other immediate needs that the family may have.
