Thank you for your contribution. Please share with others so they can have the opportunity to support this family and reach the necessary goal.
I met young Brother Blaze and his older brother at camp in Opelousas this past summer. He's a kid that lights up a room when he walks in. Good or bad for the staff, the room was definitely going to be brighter for his presence. I have fond memories of him and our other campers having a blast in the pool and trying every day to have as much fun as possible. Blaze is a leader amongst his peers, a fierce protector of his loved ones, and was passionate about fairness and justice. A few days before his tragic passing, I had the pleasure of running into RJ and Blaze at a local convenience store. When I saw the smiles and heard the laughter, exchanged hugs and handshakes with them, I knew that the love was real and that they knew I loved them and had their best interests at heart. It weighs on my soul to accept that he has been shot and passed on from this life, and I've committed myself to helping the family as much as I can. If you're seeing this, the family could use your help.
Thanks in advance,
