I am writing as a best friend to your younger brother Ian, who has Always been in awe of you. You were his BROTHER and he knew more than most that you loved him and will always be there for him. He told me all the time. And you were not just a rock for Ian, but for your entire family. We all admire and respect you for that Shane.
Although you may not look it from afar, with your huge beard and tattoos, you have always been so approachable and welcoming to everyone. No matter who it is. You have one of the most sincere hearts and the ability to crack anybody's shell with your vibrant personality. Your friendship is unmatched and shown in the most unconventional of ways. The kind that are truly unforgettable. Knowing you and looking up to you through the years has only made me want to be a better brother to my younger siblings, so I want to thank you personally for that.
You have had an outpouring of support via social media that is emblematic of your continuously shining spirit (it even has a reddish aura). This note and gesture is in the best and most sincere efforts to provide as much support as possible for your ever-loving, ever-supportive, ever-happy family during these trying and unexpected circumstances.
