Forget Me Not (Homeless) Veterans Park

Failure is not an option!!! .

Our mission is to give our brave (all branches of the military) Veterans a safe place, out of the (often inhospitable) elements, to reclaim their lives. At 0600 it was 12°F, with morning highs in the 20s this week. We decided it was time to stop talking about helping our Veterans and actually do something. With no government funding (due to red tape and regulations), we opened a 22+ acre "park" for homeless Veterans. Forget Me Not Veterans Park,  is nestled in the foothills of the Chupadero Mountains, west of San Marcial, New Mexico. 

Our dedication was on November 11, 2022, Veteran's

Day. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. (Tax ID#: 85-0525984)Our ongoing mission is to provide housing, meals, clothing, skills/work training, transportation, VSOs and more.

The pictures (above) are an 

example of the homes Veterans will live in and assist each other to build the next home. 

Below is our newest home delivered on May 4th 2023, now the work begins again,  really excited for our Veterans.These types of programs will help our Veterans regain their dignity, allow them to help others, give them a reason to get up in the morning and a place to live for as long as they'd like, even with their pet, if they have one or want one. We already have men and women Veterans living at Forget Me Not Veterans Park.

Our Veterans are so grateful to be out of the weather and in a home of their own. Our wonderful Veterans appreciate that people still care about the sacrifices they 

made for our country.
