Help former Common Roots Cafe employees!

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who donated and helped us meet our needs in the last month! After checking in with fellow employees, we were able to give every interested employee some funds to get by.

A few donations have come in since we began our distribution process, and we will develop a system for sharing these funds as well. We are planning to shut down this fundraiser on March 31st. If you are hoping to get in touch with us, we can be reached at [email redacted].

Many of us have been able to find new jobs and we are doing our best to move forward in stride. We are grateful for the community and support we've found in south Minneapolis. Thank you, one and all.

Thank you for visiting our fundraiser page! We are some of the former employees of Common Roots Cafe, and we are hoping to gather some donations to help our former coworkers who have been placed under financial stress due to the sudden closure of Common Roots Cafe.

Many of our coworkers will likely be able to obtain unemployment, however, that is often not enough income to cover all their needs while they are searching for new jobs. Our goal is to make sure none of our coworkers fall into dire straits while they are unemployed.
