Branon's Medical Bills (Twisted Timber Owner)
Donation protected
On March 23rd, 2020, Branon was taken to the emergency room for severe stomach pain. The doctors quickly determined that he had Acute Pancreatitis caused by gallstones. This can usually be treated by a couple of days' stay in the hospital, but Branon’s case was life-threatening because it turned into necrotizing pancreatitis. He had to be transferred to the ICU at a larger hospital where he stayed for almost 2 weeks. Between March and October, he had to be readmitted multiple times due to complications that were causing him severe pain. He ended up having 9 surgeries in total during that time and lost over 100lbs. The illness obviously took a physical toll on him but also caused many financial burdens due to medical bills and being absent from work.
Since October, Branon has regained a lot of his strength and is doing much better.
The Pates are grateful for all the help they have received during that difficult time from family and friends in the form of meals, watching their young children, encouraging words, and prayers.
Craft Axe Throwing Twisted Timber is helping raise funds for the Pate's during this hard time in their lives. Craft Axe Throwing will be raising funds for the family through April 18th & will also be donating 25% of all Twisted Timber's sales of the weekend of April 16th as well.
