For Paula Dewitt's Medical +

I have created this fundraising page for my dear friend Megan Dewitt -- to help her raise funds to assist with her Mom's medical issue. Last week, they discovered that there was a 3cm tumor in her mother's brain which caused quite a bit of swelling. They removed it via surgery but also discovered a lesion on her lungs. Megan's mother will need radiation treatments locally near the UCI medical center. Her parents live in Yucaipa which is very far from UCI so Megan is trying to raise funds to pay for temporary housing in Orange County near the treatment center. Paula's radiation treatments will be everyday M-F for 3-5 weeks. She is currently in post-surgery recovery in the hospital and will need rehabilitation therapy after the brain surgery. This whole ordeal came at an unfortunate time as Megan and her fiancé, Nathan, had just spent their summer savings on deposits for their upcoming wedding (scheduled for this Fall). That's why I am reaching out to those of you who know and love Megan as I do. Let's show our love and support through this difficult time.
