Forrest Family Unplanned Challenges

Hi everyone, if you don't know me my name is Brianna Jensen/Forrest. I am fundraising to assist my parents, Robin and Bill Forrest, to help pay for medical expenses, day to day expenses, and comfort items for my dad.

If you are not aware, my dad, Bill Forrest, was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer in October of 2022. The cancer has spread from his lungs, to his bones and liver. This cancer has caused my dad to be in severe pain making it so he has not been able to work since before his diagnosis. He has had many chemo and immunotherapy treatments, along with 3 rounds of radiation to try and mitigate the spread of bone cancer and the pain that went along with that.

Unfortunately these therapies have not been effective at treating his aggressive form of cancer and it has continued to spread. After 5 days in the hospital due to difficulty breathing my dad was placed on oxygen to help him breathe easier. With this oxygen he was able to come home, however on October 23rd, 2023 my parents, after consulting with doctors, decided it was the best decision for my dad to go on hospice care. At this time our primary concern is making sure my dad is comfortable and has what he needs to help him during this part of his journey.

Any funds received will be used to help with any medical expenses, catching up on the last year of bills due to my dad not working, and any future unplanned expenses that come from this unexpected challenge.

Many people have reached out to my family sending there love, thoughts and prayers. We are so thankful for all of the love and support we have received.
