Fort St. James Search & Rescue Needs a Home!
To support our goal of providing the best service possible, FSJSAR is moving forward on purchasing a building. We are working with very close timelines to achieve our fundraising goal!
Fort St James Search and Rescue (FSJSAR) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization providing emergency services to Fort St. James and surrounding communities. Our team is a group of unpaid professionals certified in ground search and rescue. We support agencies such as the RCMP and BC Emergency Health Services for incidents involving missing or lost persons, medical extrications, natural disasters, body recoveries, and wildfire evacuations.

FSJSAR does not currently have a single facility to store all of our equipment, leaving much of our equipment to be stored in multiple locations and outdoors. This has caused delays and increases our emergency response time. We also do not have a facility to support training activities, education, and community involvement.
We are asking for the community's help to make this goal a reality through donations of any size. If you would like to learn more about supporting our effort to purchase a building, please contact us.
Thank you to all who have supported us over the years, helping us provide this important service to the people of FSJ and surrounding communities!
