Fort Worth Feeds All: Uniting a Strong Community

In Tarrant County and its surrounding areas, nearly half a million individuals grapple with food insecurity. Amidst these challenges, Taste Community Restaurant stands ready to address this crisis with the support of dedicated volunteers, striving to address hunger sustainably in our neighborhood. This community initiative helps hardworking families and also highlights the resilience of a community, where families often sacrifice their own nourishment to ensure their children are fed.

As entrepreneurship students at the University of North Texas, we've launched this campaign on behalf of Taste Community Restaurant with a firm belief in the transformative power of taste to create positive change. By taking proactive steps to tackle hunger and removing financial barriers, we're paving the way for a brighter future for our community.

Our goal is simple: to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Taste's innovative easy pay system empowers individuals to contribute what they can, preserving their dignity in the process. But we understand that we can't do it alone. With your generous support, we can expand our impact and reach even more people in need. Every donation, no matter how big or small, contributes to our collective efforts.

The Taste Community Restaurant is a beacon of hope, feeding over 1000 people per week and having served over 150,000 individuals since its inception in 2017. Their impact resonates deeply, providing sustainable, healthy meals to thousands of families who otherwise might go without. Through this campaign, our aim is to provide at least 50 meals to families in the Tarrant County area, furthering our fight against hunger in the DFW region.
