Hi there
Basically I've recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and have had to stop working which has put life on hold completely
'Shoulder pains' led me to take up medical help with not being able to sleep or perform normal day to day tasks and eventually became to painful to bear. After a trip to the doctors and a few scans later we realised it was something more sinister.
It was cancer
A rare form of cancer called a sarcoma had formed on the top of the humerus and due to its lack of recognition, meant it had chance to travel to the liver, the lungs and also to the spine unnoticed
The doctors said there and then. That only 20% of people with this grade of cancer manage to live up to 5 more years
I was mortified
I've been adopting a strong positive attitude towards the disease itself but can't stop thinking about how much more I had to do for my children before I went. I had every parents dream of taking them abroad to Disney land and leaving them enough to see them through a good education but unfortunately I never sought out life insurance and now as a result can't ascertain any either.
I've already sold nearly all of my belongings to try and fill a 'kitty' with which the kids can use for driving lessons or their first car etc for when I'm gone and until the day I expire every penny I get will be going towards making sure they have a more solid a future as possible
All I'm trying to do here. Is make sure my kids get a damn good holiday before my sell by date pops up and that there is something I can help with even when I'm no longer here. I'll be forcing myself back to work as soon as possible, pain or not, to make sure they're still catered for when I'm gone
If you could only donate 50p. You've actively helped my children which is a thankyou I'll never EVER be able to fully express. Anyone that knows myself knows just how precious my children are to me and if they could see it in their heart to help them I'll never forget it and neither would they
Please help me make my kids future a better place
Thankyou
