Help Rebuild the Youth Boxing Program at Fort Wayne PAL
Tax deductible
My name is Sam Gray. I'm the head coach for the youth boxing program at the Fort Wayne Police Athletic League and a product of the youth boxing program in the late 80's and early 90's.
The Fort Wayne Police Athletic League youth boxing program was disbanded 30 years ago and is restarting this fall (2024). Fort Wayne PAL Boxing provides an avenue for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 16 a safe and structured environment to learn the art of Olympic-style boxing, while building lifelong friendships and values like discipline, commitment, dedication, sportsmanship, and hard work.
As you can imagine after 30 years, the vast majority of the boxing equipment including gloves, bags (e.g. heavy bags and speed bags), and safety equipment has been lost or is unusable. The ring was also donated or sold.
We are seeking donations to help us not only rehabilitate the boxing gym area, but provide participating youth with new equipment for training. Since we are a non-profit organization, our initial goal is to attract interest in the program with no cost to parents for signing their child up and for participating in the program. Any little bit helps and will go a long way in making the youth boxing program at the Fort Wayne Police Athletic League a success out of the gate. All proceeds from this GoFundMe will go to the youth boxing program.
Thank you in-advance for your kind donation.
Here are just some things your donation will go towards for our participating youth boxers:
