Hi my name is Fory; I'm a transwoman who, for the past decade, I've been trying to gain stability. I've been through heartbreak, homelessness, abuse & trauma. I've pretty much lost everything several times, all the while just continuously experiencing even more shit. I escaped the south probably around the right time due to widespread anti-trans legislature & rhetoric.

I left after an assault by my father, who was acting on my mother's behalf, a violent transphobe. They've been abusive for as long as I can remember.

I tried sleeping in my car in the streets of South Florida, but it had proven to be dangerous, what with the police presence and having been followed by them.

I drove my dinky little car up north with the money I had saved from fundraising. I went to a shelter to try to build myself, and that fell through. I continued to stay in my car until taken in by a friend and her family. That is where I stay currently. I got myself a full-time job and have been trying my hardest since to stay out of homelessness with the help of the family.

I have a lot of obstacles up ahead for me. I have a hospital bill from being admitted to a mental facility. I have my car insurance and a registration transfer. I want my name changed because it's for a boy and from my abusers. I'm seeing a psychiatrist and a therapist for my PTSD and bipolar disorder. I also have HRT, which costs a lot more with my new insurance, not as great as what I had before. I need money for a safety deposit and 1st month's rent, and my savings doesn't even cover that. After a huge flood, I had to pay to get my car fixed, the hurricane that decided to go up north and decimate everything for a bit. I was in that.

Everything that I got has gone away poof to people. I really need help please.
