Foster carers devastated by fire need our help!

Tonight I received a devastating phone call from my mother, the type of call no one wants to hear....... "Shell my house is burning down"!!

Within the blink of an eye my wonderful parents who have spent 50 years this August opening their home and hearts to countless foster children, find themselves needing our help more than ever as they watched their house and life belongings destroyed by fire.

My parents are the most wonderful people who would have seen thousands of children from brand new babies to wayward teenagers come and go over the past 50 years with not one story being too much for them to handle.

Not only have they raised their own 4 biological children, but they have also kept another 5 including Brandon and Kane who are still living at home with my parents and an 8 month old baby girl. Nothing is too much trouble for my mother and she has never said no to helping a child in need and now she needs our help!

Sadly my parents are now in need of the same help and support from a community they have spent a lifetime devoting themselves to selflessly.

Any donation big or small will go a long way in helping them get back on their feet and move forward again and I know that my parents would never themselves ask for any help......
