Foster parent keeping siblings together

Hello, I’m Tabatha, those that know me is know that I am a licensed foster parent in Florida. I have been serving in this role since march and already had 8 children come through my doors. During this short time I’ve been able to help provide a temporary safe place for some, and long term for others.one of the things that I am passionate about is keeping siblings together. I recently accepted placement of a precious brother and sister set in addition to the 6 month old I’ve had since birth. Unfortunately I have been placed in a challenging positions to have to make a very difficult and gut wrenching decision that will effect everyone no matter what decision is made. I’m currently licensed for 2 children due to limitations in the amount of space in my car. My previous sibling group placement was older children so this was not an issue as one was old enough to sit in the front seat. Unfortunately this time around I require 3 car seats and my car is just not equipped to safely accommodate this. I’ve done all I can to try and make this work but was informed that it is not something that can be remedied in my current vehicle. So now I must choose to separate siblings or have the infant in my care since birth moved to a new home. Neither of these options are things that I am ok with and my heart is shattered. I have a temporary placement for the baby identified with a close friend who is also a foster parent to give time to raise the funds to purchase a larger vehicle. My goal for any child that enters my home is that they never have to worry about going anywhere else until they can be reunified or adopted. Ultimately I want to adopt should the situation be a good fit. The 2 children recently placed also have a younger brother whom I would love to be able to take in as well. In order to do that I would need a vehicle that can fit 4 car seats. I want to be able to keep these siblings together as well as continue to be a stable loving placement for the baby. In order for that to happen I need a miracle fast. I’m asking for donations of any size to help raise the funds needed to be able to purchase a larger vehicle. When I started this process in 2021 I had a full size vehicle that would accommodate 3 children in the backseat. I was in an accident that totaled my car the week before Christmas that left me scrambling to get something affordable quickly. I was able to purchase this compact car I currently have but still owe more than the car is valued at currently so trading the vehicle is not really a good option unless I have a substantial down payment. I’m asking for help to be able to make that down payment on a larger vehicle so that I can do what I know God has called me to do, which is keep these siblings together. I’m trusting that the lord will provide and this need can be met quickly so the sweet baby can come home and all the children can be safe while in the car. Please consider helping provide a little stability for these children. There is no reason why something as small as a car should cause the children to experience yet another trauma! My home has space for up to 5 children but I can only help 2 at a time due to this challenge. We are desperate for foster homes in my community and siblings are almost always separated! I cannot make this decision knowing what these children have already experienced. Anything will help, it’s truly takes a village. The lord says ask and you shall receive. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." "Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe? All things are possible for one who believes." I am believing that this need can be met and these children will not have to worry about losing each other and can begin to heal from the trauma they have experienced!
